Death, hate, and rock and roll.

Damn. Something about this piece reminded me of the Power Puff Girls. (Which is an ok show by the by.) I can already here the voice:

'The City of Townsville -- all is quiet until:'
Here comes Buttercup with a 13 inch bowey knife, veigns hanging bloody from her teeth. She forces the thugs to perform oral sex on her and as she orgasms thrusts the knife through her victims ear canal and out the other side.

Around the corner, Bubbles is laying waste to the patronage of the Gap with an M-16; tangled in her hair are the bits of flesh and human musculature that grabbed on while she was cannabalizing the improprieties of the social gender with.......

Hang on - time to take another pill.

That's what I'm talkin' 'bout.

Hell yes. Fuck Aladdin up!

Glad to see SOMETHING good on the Front Page.

I always liked this skit and I really like what you've done with it. I was extremely impressed at the work you did with the "lip synch." Few people would have taken the time to make up and properly place the 4 or 5 different 8-bit mouths you and your team have to represent different syllables. Great work.

Great work.

I really enjoyed this style and I love the grey scale + blood color work. It was great -- and since I'd like to have a hand in making it even better I'll leave but one suggestion.

You do great storyboard work, be it in your head or on paper and the angles and cuts chosen were excellent. However, the cuts/scenes are just slightly too quick. I can see your going for a quick cut - live action comic book - kind of style and I dig it but, especially in this kind of black & white psuedo noir, it's hard for the viewer to identify what they are looking at. Also, you've obviously done some kick ass artwork here and your not giving the viewer any time to appreciate all you've done. By the time I've figured out who/what I'm being shown we're already onto the next cut.

To recap: This is excellent, and keep that quick cut style... but damn, man, even MTV(hellspawn of pop culture wanna-be television) leaves a couple seconds between their cuts! ;)

Finally...!

This is an excellent short. The best I've seen in a while. And just to be clear, let's run down the list of why it's a good short.
(Maybe some of you can learn something)

Fluent animation, excellent quality audio, low compressed file size, a mainly original concept, and apt use of personal artistic style. Oh... and of coarse - mentioning Sealab 2021 in the comments. I'm so happy to find that I'm not the only one who enjoys that show, I may have given this piece a 5 just for that.

hehe, I was just watching Sealab, I love it, it's even better than Space Ghost & Birdman - Attorney at Law. Adult Swim forever!

Though I'm not a fan of the Bush regime....

This was ok at best. It leaves itself open for a wide array of attacks such as: Many of those bodies did look to be clothed as soldiers, or, those deaths were at the hands of Saddam and not the U.S., etc....

I support the anti-war movement so longs as it acts to keep us out of a war with Bush at the helm. War may be needed - but Bush has proven himself and his administration to be dishonest and incompetent and I won't go to any war where he or any of his illuminati, stonemason, skull member, family holds the reigns.

As for this piece - props for trying to hold back the slaughter of innocents - unfortunately, not the best work that could have been assembled to make the point.

Again, Excellent.

I love the section of mispronounciation. I really dig on random humor. I watched the second episode first and already left a glowing review there so what can I say more than - props to the series.

Damn fine work.

Very Williams Street; even the credits and outro music. And I dig everything Williams Street.

This was great. I liked the tie in's to various "crime figther" genre's and their independent graphical styles. Did I notice a little "Invader Zim" influence in there?

I'm a big fan of low animation pieces with emphasis put on situational and, moreso, conversational humor and this hits all the best points of those. Great work.

Not as great as I'd expected.

I should pre-empt any criticism by saying that I don't know of and have not followed this series. So inject some sodium with these comments.

I suppose I end up expecting more than I should from anything that makes it to the front page but I have to say that the graphics weren't that great, the audio was kind of clipped and could have been compressed further to lower the file size, and, most importantly, it just wasn't that funny.

I might guess that this episode was rushed or at least forced out to keep the series moving. Not so much because of the graphics but because of it's lack of humor. All I can think to say to the author is, take your time and let the next episode come to You.

My fish is not dead. My fish is alive. This is NOT in my head!
