Blinded by the audio.

Whiny horrible power chord crap-pop music. I know you made mention in the description not to dwell on it but we(the musically aware) can't help it. It's our responsibility. We must unrelentingly continue to point out the shitty nature of this music until 14 year old boys and dull witted shallow college girls around the world stop thinking it's any good.

As for the movie... I'm not a fan of these P.S.A. style shorts but there was some ok artwork. I give you double-bonus-points for chopping your MP3 down to the length of the flick. I hate wasted kb.

The deal is...

You came up with some creative methods despite the lack of graphical artistry. I especially liked the linear guitar-neck "tab." Nice work... keep working with it... bla bla blah...

This version of the song isn't that bad. I don't mind hearing it in this heavy rock style.
HOWEVER: Musicians of the world: Hear me.
There is NO reason...NO reason... to remake good, classic, memorable music. Leave it alone. Use your own creativity and come up with something... I dunno... NEW?!! Instead of pissing all over the creations of the past with your new *modern pop-rock* shit-styles.

[Emo is dead, long live Queen]<--wha?

I don't know how to feel about this.

It's an amazing piece of work with excellent production values across the board. High quality audio, stylistic artisitry, better then average animation (though much was conveyed through stills.) Use of shadow in the hallway perfect and the rippling water in the sink... nice.

I was very happy to hear some well recorded voice work - not a usual thing 'round here. Many credits are due this piece... and yet...

I just don't know how to feel about it. The story is so encapsulated in it's time frame that I drew no real connection to the charecters by the climax... I suppose I feel much the way our psuedo-villian-boy felt afterwards... Like there was something here worth caring about, and yet, I don't, really.

People say things.

I've seen a few people, even those less than impressed with this submission, crediting it for it's stellar animation. Well... I've come to let you know:

The animation ain't that great.

The confusion here is differenciating between art and animation. The art is pretty damn stellar -- no doubt. The backgrounds are quite nice and the charecters are well composed with a modern Disney flare.

However, as for animation. There wasn't much of which to speak. There's enough to fool the viewer into thinking he saw a well animated film... but, for the record, you didn't. Highly stylized stills and motion tweens ruled the frames here people. A few quick cut fbf's of a hand grabbing or a girl pulling... but no stellar animation to speak of.

Besides that, of coarse, the lack of truely interesting charecters or plot takes this submission down off the mantle. Maybe it's going somewhere -- but I doubt it. Honestly, this looks like a prize piece for the authors to throw around to prospective job offers. Little more.

And that, my friends, is how 9+9+8 = 7.

Cameo heaven.

'Your lord and master' made an appearance! Rock! By the by, I just love it when people leave reviews that spoil the ending... [assholes]

mmm.... Garfield.

Best ending ever! Still laughing. Excellent animation by the by and quite nice of you to revive a graphic style I've not seen in a bit. Not since the days of Garfield and the such... (Warm and fuzzy)

Worth the watch.

Being as compressed as this is it was somewhat difficult to watch. I think that through much of this spoof the author may have been relying too much on the sheer concept of a finger puppet Matrix to carry the humor. I believe much more could've been done to make it funnier.

At the same time, I can say that this piece really picked it up as it approached the end. The visual spoofs and the audio cuts got funnier and funnier.

Summarily: There were lots of unexplored possibilities but it's certainly worth the watch.

Rock.

Wow. Beautiful audio. I can hear the wide open 32bit and the windscreen in front of the mic and the 64 track studio in the background. ;D

Can't wait to get my studio up and running.

Lets disagree to agree.

It's a cute little animation and I liked the style. There was a level of smoothness in the motion tweens that I don't see often - nice job on animating it. The ClockCrew part was mildly amusing and done well also.

Now to the point: In case anyone was wondering or doesn't know, or perhaps had just forgotten how to percieve correctly...

That song.... is shit.

I hope I've cleared that up for everyone.
...Your welcome...

Sincerely,

Sincere
